Delicious, healthy and natural food is served in this small jewel of a restaurant. Family business and really friendly, they are a bit from Sapporo, but definitely worth a visit when u have a car or are over. I had a tempura udon with 8 different types of pickled veges and enjoyed each item.
This is my favorite Udon place in sapporo. very healthy, all hand made. they even make their own salt from sea water! great family farm! I like the curry udon the best.
This small family restaurant specializes in dishes that are loosely translated as mountain or wild vegetables. These are usually seasonal with spring (in Hokkaido, this is April/May) the obvious peak season for most wild things to sprout and edible. I had her delicious Sansai Teishoku with Curry Udon, a lot of Sansai Tempura and other marinated Sansai dishes. In any case, it will be for more. Friendly atmosphere and quiet at the end of a small side street.
Had a lovely lunch with family back in Feb 2018. It was so delicious and heart warming that we went twice during the vacation. We chanced upon the restaurant through Google maps on the day where we didn’t have any meal bookings made and it has to be one of the many pleasant surprises that we discovered. This is a much delayed post but was reminded of the eatery while chatting with family. Simply love that there is a gift shop at the mezzanine overlooking the main dining room with curated products that are locally sourced and crafted, perfect for gifts. The food is served piping hot and with fresh local vegetables done in tempura style, simply warmed the cockles of all of our hearts.
