It's just to show you that you don't need some chic shop to make the best donuts! Move! And prices are more than reasonable! Krispy Kreme, garbage! Dunkin Donuts, extra garbage! KK DD is like ordering pizza from Domino or Pizza Junk I am my hat. Anyway, get some of the best donuts you'll ever eat!! The only thing you will regret is how many you will eat!
Best Donuts I ever had! Krispy Kreme blows in comparison. Dunkin Donuts can't hold them a candle! There was a small store in St. Paul, MN that came close, but Gold Star is the best!
Try all the doughnut shops in the area. This jewel is located in a strange neighborhood and offers the best cake doughnuts I've been growing up in Colorado for my days and eating small batch doughnuts. Saure cream, buttermilk, maple, blueberry, double chocolate the list continues. I buy them for my staff and they always ask where I have them.
I grew up in Bradenton and ate Gold Star and Turners. I've been moved to a city that has no local donuts. We went out this morning and got a box of every joint. Before I had eaten them next to each other, I would have recommended Turner's and behaved. Gold Star is hands down the superior donut. The base yeast is moist, zig and soft. Your chocolate glazing is sweet and buttery without being sweet in the teens. The raspberry filled was tart and sweet, but not crowded, each bite had the right amount of filling. Don't worry about getting a cake donut somewhere else. (Can you say I'm eating too many donuts? The best in the line, however, is their bear claw. Did I mention that all donuts are the size of your head? The best bang for your ass. It is located in the middle of a strip-mall that the Count seems to have forgotten, but his still family owned and beautiful. Take a trip.
The BEST donuts!!. The glazed donuts are just ridiculously good...huge, with the perfect combination of sweetness and chewiness. All the donuts are good, go for a dozen and mix it up. My kids absolutely love them!
