The Terrace At Surf Shack - Sarasota

Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice Saint Armand's Circle institution. Though the real star of the show here is their wonderful piano lounge, with live music on many fine evenings. It could definitely go a bit later on into the evening .

Seated on time and our order was promptly taken. The food and entertainment were excellent.

We were seated upstairs but when we requested to be outside at one of the many empty tables they refused. Said those tables seated 4 and they might get busy when the music started. I did check open table app and they still had several reservation spots open for several hours following ours so it seems our request should have been honored. We left and went downstairs where it was very chilly and they didn’t have the heaters on. Service was ok but slow in greeting recognized and initial drink orders. But fine after that. This was our 4th visit and 3rd disappointing experience.

Good food. Great atmosphere with the duo playing music. Service was not the best. Getting a water seemed like an inconvenience

Bad service, cold food. A big disappointment all around. DO NOT USE YELP POINTS TO DETERMINE A RESTAURANT.
