Hudson Valley Dessert Company

I visited the area of Saugerties and my daughter wanted to check the clothing stores, but I wanted to go to a bakery so I chose the Hudson Valley Dessert Company. And it was fantastic! I only bought four cookies and even with this small order the young lady who took care of me was very nice. I chose a raspberry thumbprint, a chocolate-coated raspberry short rice, a semi-coated chocolate short bread heart and a biscotti like cookies that I believe almond bread (my first time). These cookies were all the same fresh with great taste! I live in the downstate area and work part-time in NYC, where I went to countless bakeries (my weakness obvious) and these cookies fit to any cookie I had in the city, and even surpass my experience with some of the well-known ones.

One of the best cakes I ever tasted. It was delicious and worth every penny I paid. Thanks for a wonderful cake for my daughter's birthday.

This bakery has the BEST gluten-free vanilla cake and chocolate icing. It is so dense and worth any calories. The Eclairs are something from my dreams. Remember to be in NYC and get a big amazing pastry from a French bakery. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They even made me a last minute of gluten-free birthday cake, which was beautifully decorated. The hours are much longer than a typical bakery that is extremely helpful. It is an idyllic day to take a walk and get a treat from this store. There's best vitality. Seriously, go here. You won't regret it. It is my weekly treatment and it makes my life better every time.

We ordered custom cookies as wedding gifts for our daughter and son in the law they were so beautiful and incredibly delicious! Each cookie was so beautiful and individually packed with a beautiful Raffia bow and a sticker with a personal message as well as the ingredients. So many people told me how much they loved her! Connie was so easy to work and I've been planning on working with her since my next daughter is getting married!

We've visited 3 times lately and have been highly impressed with the consistency of everything we've tried. Cookies, mousse, tiramisu, lemon bars, flour free chocolate torte and biscotti--all amazing. Every time I've gone I've gotten an eclair, and mmmm so amazing. Not too sweet, great chocolate, and yummy center. We are going back in the morning for treats to take home with us. Also, the decorated cookies are adorable and delicious.
