If you're doing the gallon walk, I'd stay away from this place, even though this place is listed on the 'go to' pubs for the walk the owner refused

Dec 30 fabby great welcome roaring fire small good menu bit sparse on the fish side but the pork belly was delish such a bice place not too crowded loved it

Lovely atmosphere, went at 7pm and was full of diners, including children, was nearly empty by 8.30, it was the best meal out I’ve had in years, I had chicken and Quattro pate for starters and nut roast for main and it was gorgeous. Was too full for desert, all my family enjoyed their meals too, would highly recommend this place, best meal in Whitby

Called in as just arrived after a six hour drive. They found us a table and the food was excellent, we have reserved a table for another day as we want to try some other food, staff were friendly and professional and the local people made us welcome with tips on where to visit,

Love coming to this restaurant every year we visit Sandsend. The food is wonderful and the young waiter Daniel was so helpful and especially nice to,our young diners. Highly recommend.
