The TV on the wall typically plays univision or whatever football game the workers are rooted. The low prices on the menu would you believe that the food will run very the mill typical San Antonio Mexican. But don't judge a book. The food here is definitely not gourmet, but it is also not cheap Mexican, although it is very cheap. It is mostly homemade, tasteful and correspondingly spicy with a style that, in my opinion, is somewhat closer to TexMex as an authentic mex. If you choose one of their daily specialties (on Friday the special is two cheese enchiladas, two puffy tacos, rice and beans), you will pay about $5.99 and you will get enough food for two meals. I always take half of me for lunch the next day. Perhaps the best value of any restaurant in San Antonio area. Tortillas and chips are homemade and the chips are usually freshly fried, a little on the crispy side, with all the fun yellow, orange and green colors the children love to eat. I'm not a big fan of her red salsa, although there's really nothing wrong with it. The verde salsa is excellent (and hot), but you need to ask for it. On the scale of more and more than you expected, this restaurant is a first-class establishment. Nevertheless, I want to see some better lighting inside and they need to do something with the decor to make it more inviting, perhaps on an English-speaking TV show occassionally. But my complaints are very low, Sely's definitely earned a high rating.
This place is the best! Wonderful food and service. Great breakfast and lunch specials home made tortillas! I recommend it to everyone. O yea and they have military discount
I had an enchilada plate n it was excellent I loved the chile con queso my son had a picadillo plate n he ate it all I've been there a couple time n every time the service is excellent very friendly employees the beef caldo is also very good I've had the taco salad also n it was great I loved the edible shell it came in the Carne guisada was the bomb Its also very clean and the employees also look very clean I love this restaurant and I will keep coming back it's my favorite place to eat
The tacos were good but for the price they could have been bigger. I had larger tacos for the same price at other restaurants. I would recommend this place based on the taste and quality of the tacos I tried. Five dollar minimum purchase for credit card purchases. They also have a huge sign before you walk in. It says they have the right to refuse service to anyone. Good luck! One more thing the parking lot is small. You might need an suv or truck to park on the side.
Great place to grab breakfast tacos! Ordered some on the way to work andi must have ordered like 15 and they all came out well made and delicious! The chorizo and egg is my favorite with the potato and egg coming in a close second! Highly recommend and will return!
