That'll be a long check, so they'll buckle up. I am autistic and trying to overwhelm new places, so I tend to be the same restaurants. I heard how great this place was, so I decided to try. I went to an early dinner, where places are more quiet and I can take my time. When I came in, I didn't realize that I got one table and one order (i.e. no hostess to sit you) so I went to theke. I warmly welcomed from the hearts behind the counter, and I let him know that it was my first time and asked if he could explain the process to me. without hesitation or posture he went through the menu with which the salat was dressed, and explained that the seafoods were fed in, the various options for calamari, which were the elements on the handwritten table and like a line was Italian with the second line the description in English. he further explained the different possibilities, how I could get wein (bottle or through the glass) where I could find the various beer and soft drinks. he then let me know that they bake daily bread, who desserts, have wood-fired pizza in winter, and that they will settle their rucksacks at the time of the day at the order, but for dinner they will settle it at the end of their meal. he then asked if I had any questions; I did not ask for some time to check the menu. another man who was as friendly and patient, took my order and gave me my table. I have. -grilled squid -viva l’italia sandwich - quarter liter wein -water -2 desserts (because they only live once) the food was delicious and I also ordered an espresso with dessert. when I was eating, I noticed how many people came and seemed to be on a first name basis with the personal. with the amount of quality and geduld and the quality of the meal, this has not surprised me at all. the service level here is incredible. I can't wait for her to come back from her summer vacation because this will be my new favorite place!
10/10 wow. when my bf chose this place I was?t sure what was to be expected, so I came with low expectations, but wow. I got the air-hardened bark salad with arugula and wow it was light but so tasteful. my bf got the spaghetti and clams, with something wicy and made it red. pha! it was great. the weeping are a little small, but enough. the ambiente makes you feel like you? in someone's grandma's house. we also have the tiramisu and fig cake. the fig cake was also light, but delicious and the tiramisu was great. the service was great. everyone was so helpful and polite. I'm blown away.
First time visiting and we weren 't disappointed. Tommy was watching Triple D one night and noticed that the restaurant was in our area. We decided to visit and arrived just before the lunch rush hour. We were able to be seated in a comfortable spot after placing our order. Tommy ordered the sausage sandwich with roasted peppers and onions. I had the fried calamari plate with salad. The food arrived at our table nicely fresh and piping hot. The flavors were amazing. We did sample each other 's plates, and normally I 'm not a sausage fan, but in this case, it was hands down, one of the best I 've tasted in years; the roasted peppers were just an added treat. The sausage had a nice bite to it, meaning you can taste it was spicy, but not overly spicy. The calamari was lightly breaded and fried to perfection...it wasn 't oily, and it had a very fresh (not fishy or rubbery) taste and texture.
