Feedback gevenWow never thought I'd be writing this review. 1st walkout of Local Bistro. Absolutely awful. Whoever took over management does not care about his customers. No more to-go boxes at brunch, and a total disregard for those with allergies. They were not willing to bend any rules to accommodate gluten free and expected me to pay $32 for 1 entree and I was not able to eat any of the unlimited starters. The representative talking to us was trying to make me feel better about my options but when only 3 items are listed gluten free, I'm not gonna ask about every item on the menu to see if they could do it gluten free. Especially when their local breakfast consists of only, bacon or sausage, eggs, and potatoes still isn't listed gluten free. It's not worth $32, I will not be returning!
Local bistro is our favorite! We always come and sit at the bar! Becca and Brenden are our favorite! They give great service, make me fun drinks and the new menu rocks. Had the three cheese ravioli tonight and added blackened shrimp! Chicken and artichokes and the salmon are also two of my favorites but this ravioli is up there as a contender! Highly recommend!
I usually don?t share poor reviews but this one I felt was needed. I came here for dinner once and had a fabulous meal and service. Thought I would try brunch. I had 12pm reservation. Waitress asked if our 1st time is was mine so she explained how it worked for the brunch menu. We ordered our 1st starters. After that our waitress didn?t come back for over 20min. We got her attention and went to order another small bite and was told 3 of them were already sold out. If we would have known we couldn?t get what we wanted to eat on the menu we wouldn?t have stayed. We ordered another small bite to try as it was one of the only options left and we didn?t like it. Very unfortunate. So now we decided to just order our entree. But we couldn?t get a waitress. By now it was 45 minutes. I got so upset I was going to walk up to bar to pay and leave. When?s. Gentleman walked over to ask if we needed anything. I stated yes a waitress!!! We were now in a rush to get to our 2:15 movie?He seemed not concerned at all and put in our order. When it was brought out 25min later we asked for boxes as we were hungry and needed to get to our movie. He said no. I?m this type of circumstance I would assume an exception would be made. I will not be back! Very unfortunate. I paid for poor service and to leave hungry.
The dishes were amazing and recommend both their brunch and dinner. Presentation and ambience is more than I could ask for. The staff goes over and beyond to ensure a great time. The manager Brandon is by far the best with checking in on every table and does more than any manager I know from serving, seating guests and getting to know everyone that steps into Local Bistro. I can?t recommend this place enough it has become my favorite dinner venue for any day of the week and brunch spot on sundays!
I enjoyed the modern, elegant ambience of the restaurant great setting. Service was also absolutely excellent. Cocktails were a bit hit and miss. They make a real good Manhattan, however, I was a bit disappointed by their Old Fashioned. They served it up with many small cubes rather than the one standard big cube, diluting it. Requested it remade with the one cube and when it came back it still tasted diluted so I think they might have just poured the same drink into a new glass with the new cube. I could be wrong, but that?s how it tasted. As far as food goes, I loved their appetizers mussels and calamari were really delicious. Also had their burger and French onion soup which were good, but for the price, wasn?t quite what I was hoping for.
