Although the vegan pastie may no longer be available, the outlet inside a BP service station is not much smaller than the original location in Springvale. However, the selection of vegan items is limited, with only 2 types of donuts and a vegan pie available. Despite this, the vegan donuts are very good, except for the chocolate custard flavor. The cake is also a must-try. The lack of variety is disappointing, but hopefully, it will improve with popularity. The establishment receives 2 stars for the limited selection and staff wearing masks below their chins like Rogans. The environment is mentioned as well.
The Happycow editors have updated their description once again, showing consistency in this aspect. Daniels Donuts offers a selection of 10 different vegan donuts and a vegan cake on their website. I visited this outlet a few times, located inside a BP service station. Surprisingly, it does not seem much smaller than the original Daniel's Donuts outlet in Springvale. However, the similarity ends there. They typically have only 2 different vegan varieties of donuts available, along with vegan cakes that can be microwaved for you. It is a bit disappointing that the range is limited, but hopefully it will expand as popularity grows. The vegan donuts, especially the jam and cream ones, are very good, and the cake is also delicious. Getting 6 donuts for $18 is a great deal in my opinion. Hopefully, as more vegans in the area create demand, there will be more variety and quantity available.
The BP location of Daniel's offers a variety of vegan options, including cinnamon, jam, glazed, and my personal favorite, jam and cream doughnuts. The cakes are also delicious and better than what Pie Faces has to offer. I hope to see more vegan options added in the future, similar to the Springvale shop.
Daniel's, located inside a BP service station, offers four delicious vegan doughnut varieties - cinnamon, jam, glazed, and my personal favorite, jam and cream. The pies are also fantastic and more reasonably priced than those offered at Pie Face. I hope they expand their vegan options to match the Springvale store's selection.
The Happycow editors once again provided an inaccurate description, but at least they are consistent in that regard. Daniels Donuts offers 10 different vegan donut options and a vegan pie on their website. I have visited this outlet a couple of times and, despite being inside a BP service station, it is surprisingly not much smaller than the original Daniels Donuts outlet in Springvale. However, there are only 2 different vegan donut varieties available, along with the vegan pie which they will microwave for you. The limited range is a bit disappointing, but hopefully it will expand if these options become popular. The vegan donuts at Daniels Donuts are very good, especially the jam and cream flavors, and the vegan pie is also tasty. In my opinion, getting 6 donuts for $18 is a great value. I hope that more vegans in the area will create the demand needed to increase the variety and quantity of vegan options available.
