From what I gather Lisa, the main chef originally worked in a fair few other fine dining establishments, but made such a name for herself with her gnocchi recipes that she opened her own restaurant focused almost entirely on it (they do also serve soup and salad as starters but the gnocchi definitely is the main attraction). If you have even a passing liking for gnocchi this is the place to go (I highly recommend trying the mushroom medley).
Absolutely delicious hand- formed gnocchi. Local ingredients, meticulous technique and quite frankly some of the tastiest meatballs I've ever had. Really incredible seasonal salads too!
Really cute little place for all of your gnocchi and gelato needs! The staff was friendly and really accommodating and the food choices are enough to sate anyone's appetite! Their tiramisu is decent, not the best I've had, but still has a unique flair to it that you'll love. Enjoy them!
This place has a small menu but a good selection of what they do have. Surprisingly, you can get some decent wine and other beverages with your meal. They also have a good selection of gelato for dessert. It's not a big restaurant by any means. Probably had comfortable max seating of 40-ish. The server greeted us at the counter and was also the one waiting tables. Not sure how that setup works, but she was working hard and kept up with service fairly well. There is some affordable parking on the street behind them, can't remember the street name, but don't look for parking on 12th. There are better options along the side a side, back, and a block away.
