I am addicted to their cinnamon roll cookies. The cookies here are worth what you pay. Thick, rich, and filling cookies. The perfect cheat day treat!
So I actually work on the upper block and I’d always see the owner mailing off boxes of cookies! So I went in to this bakery and fell in love at first bite! Salted Caramel Toffee is my ABSOLUTE fav! I ordered a dozen half for my Girls party they loved all the flavors I got!! Soft, Buttery, Flavorful Beautiful ?
We ordered from your bakery last week had a bad experience with whoever was working front desk. I had placed an order the night before and set up pick up for that morning. The lady working the front proceeded to tell me over and over again in a very negative attitude that I had no order after even showing my confirmation and everything. She didn’t bother “trying” to look for my order and I was out $35.00. I was really disappointed because we drove all the way from Everett. Please do better and be kind.
And, finally.... I made it! This has been my third time planning to procure cookies from this joint- first time executing the plan. Let me start by saying, although I'm very well-traveled, my roots are that of a gal from rural Missouri. Kansas City is a big city, but it's definitely no Seattle. Seattle is like Houston in that sense; there is Houston, but it never really ends for a at least a two hour radius from every angle of the actual city limits because there are a thousand subcities. Insane traffic and discourteous drivers that would literally rather run you off the road or into another vehicle than let you over. The husband was having shoulder surgery this day. He'd expressed a desire for some cookies after surgery, and knowing that I wouldn't have time to bake any cookies that day, or even the next, welcomed the perfect reason to make the jaunt across town from the hotel on the way to pick up my husband. What human wouldn't adore being swooped up and welcomed with cookies and milk for those post-op?Picture it: me, driving my husband's 3500 dually through the heart of downtown Seattle, completely unfamiliar with the area which wouldn't be a big deal- had I not been driving a pickup the width and length of a moving truck. The plan had started simple enough. I'd placed and paid for my order online, had planned to check out of our hotel an hour early to allow myself the extra time to pick up my order. Things went south quick. My baby had digestive upset and had numerous accidents that delayed our departure time. There was also a forgotten stroller and a length hike to our parking lot involved. While trekking across town to get to Lowrider, I received a call that my husband was ready to be picked up earlier than expected. The heat was really on then, and I was too far to turn back. Added bonus: the power steering went out due to a leak in a line of something or other during this same drive, so I was having to navigate the steering wheel pretty much using my entire bodily force. I get within a quarter mile of the store and start scoping out potential parking spots. It's horrible. REALLY horrible. Especially given that I can't parallel park even in our Sorento. At any rate, it's slim pickins. I finally find a spot. I saw other vehicles parked in identical parking spots, but I still question the legalities of it. I put together the stroller and load my babe up fast as I can, then jog up the street to the shop- only to be cut by some douche canoe that jumped in front of me while I was standing in line because he was just picking up an order and was double parked ... assuming I wasn't for some reason (even though I informed him otherwise). Neither here nor there, I wasn't going to go down that road. Nope, not that day Satan! We finally make it to the counter and get our order! The gal that worked there was really sweet, made sure we had everything we needed to transport a fairly large order via stroller back to our vehicle. So, I jog us back to the truck, load baby, break down stroller, and head out for my next destination which another 15 mins to another part of town to pick up my husband. That drive was every bit as SUPER awesome as the first. There were all the unpleasant elements at play here: anxiety, sweating, frantic rushing, ridiculous situations, panic, obscene traffic, insanely small spaces of all kinds, car trouble. You may wonder why I've included this dissertation of seemingly unrelated personal details in this experience. It's simply this: it was worth it. So worth it. Those cookies were the best I've ever had, and I'll probably never stop thinking about them when I want cookies. ? Absolute perfection. We had the oatmeal cream pie, cookies and cream, salted caramel pecan, chocolate chip, apple oatmeal, pumpkin maple, and s'mores. The salted caramel was my favorite. That's not to say the other flavors were lacking in the least. I would do it all over again. Until next time my next cheat item in Seattle.
