Feedback gevenI really enjoyed the Brioche Egg Sandwich. The bread was nice and warm, with all the melty cheese and egg in the middle. The added bacon made it extremely flavorful. I missed out on the Granola Parfait. It seems like they ran out... I really enjoy everything that Ive ordered from Macrina Bakery. Kevin, the Door Dasher, was extremely professional!
The rustic pizza was a slab of bread with a lot of cheese, no marinara, and three cherry tomato halves. I was confused, so I went back to look for the picture and it was gone from the menu. The cinnamon roll was delicious, and the generous amount of fluffy icing is easy to spread over the roll evenly. Maybe dont order the bagel toasted if you can toast it yourself. Theyre delicious but you know how bread gets tough.
The staff was cold. latte was easy. Eating, although beautiful looking, was messy and difficult to eat logistically. the quiche was delish, but in the middle. my sandwich was good, but fell apart as soon as I took it up and it usually had big pieces of wobbles as taste.
The coffee is good, but you can tell the scones and biscuits are made from a mix. I expect better from this bakery because I have been to this bakery in the past.
This place is legendary. They make the best ginger molasses cookies in Seattle; I spent 8.5 years working in downtown Seattle and regularly got them with a mocha from my favorite coffee shop, Ancient Grounds. This was my first time to the actual Macrina Bakery though. I also picked up an almond pinwheel for my wife.
