Tubarão Restaurante - Senhora da Hora

We visited Marosinhos based on a recommendation from a local friend.Fish restaurants next to the port provide very nicely charcoal grilled fish. We selected one of them, Valentim. Probably others also provide a similar experience.The distinguishing feature of these restaurants is the fresh sea fish that they cook to perfection. We ate Atlantic sea bass. I must say that this was the most delicious fish I have ever eaten, much tastier and fatty than Mediterranean sea bass due to the cold water.Valentim staff were excelled in their grilling skills. Outcome is the most basic and beautiful food that you can eat:)

My last night in Porto and its surroundings, and was taken to this restaurant. Interior very simple, tables close one to another and waiters though not lazy, aren't very attentive. Apart from that, I highly recommend it. We had Robalo (lubina), which was delicious and rice with beans and veggies , Porto style, which was yummy yummy...After dining I wanted to try some of their desserts, went to the display window and was expecting them to ask me whether I wanted something but no. They simply passed by and, even after I was at my table, raised my hand trying to call their attention, i had to wait some minutes prior to having the waiter in front of me to answer my questions, and taking my order.It might happen, but again, is worth a try. Food is top top top!

Our expectations in this cozy restaurant were high and they did not let us down. The fish were more than fresh: highly recommended the grilled seabass which was utterly delicious. Prices are in line with what you get. Extra bonus: uncommonly friendly service.

Our party of 6 wanted to try the fish restaurants in Matosinhos and this street has a few, all barbecuing fish in the street. We chose this place as we wanted to sit inside and it looked inviting. Good choice! Service was excellent, nice round table for 6, and the fish was great. With starters, mains, desserts and 3 bottles of wine the bill came to 222 euros, very reasonable and a great lunch. To get there catch the 500 bus to Matosinhos from Porto.

Excellent grilled fish, many options to choose from. The soup was good too. friendly service nice atmosphere and design - the place is new. Great price for what we had. Would go again.
