L'Esprit Salines - Sète

A trip to Sète isn't complete without spending a day at Les Salines, soaking up the sunshine and breathing in the fresh sea air from the comforts of your day bed popping in for a dip, when you see fit. Order delicious plates (the Thon burger, razor clams and chipirones are MUST HAVES! and impeccable cocktails, cannot go past the capirinhia, sans sucre (no sugar , if you prefer your cocktails a little less sweet. And they have pastis ans Ricard on the menu, for a truly Soth of France experience. We were only staying for lunch, but decided it was just too perfect a place, so spent the evening too. The service was top notch and the view and ambiance 15 out of 10! Don't miss this place when you visit Sète, it has everything you need for a relaxing and luscious day by the sea. You'll leave feeling like a queen.

I would recommend this as a good one. you can sit and enjoy the sea side with the waves singing while you take the beers in your hand and make you cool.

Nice place to have dinner with sea view. The oysters were very frech. The meat (we had duck and chorizo) was delicious. The staff was very friendly. We had a great evening at Salines!

An unpretentious restaurant right on the beach... some meters away from the closest parking area. the grilled sardines were a treat what we were searching for. the café gourmand was an ideal finishing touch.

Je ne suis pas exigeante au niveau cuisine mais là j'ai été très déçue. Après une attente d'une heure (peut-être plus) : dorade royale avec comme accompagnement riz et ratatouille. Tout d'abord la dorade était plutôt petite mais bien préparée (ça va). Par contre l'accompagnement vraiment mauvais, le riz était dur !!!! Impossible à manger quant à la ratatouille, elle était un peu acide (sûrement en boîte) avec rajout de poivrons frais. En somme, c'est de la cuisine à mon avis qui mériterait d'être moins chère !! ( 18 €). Par contre, notre serveur était souriant et du fait de mon mécontentement, les boissons nous ont été offertes.
