The way the staff is talked to is completely disgusting.

I visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago to try out their famous buffet that had been advertised on their website and in local newspapers. My initial impression was that it was a charming traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere and helpful bar staff. They had a good selection of beers, reasonable prices, and a well-designed seating area. However, the buffet food was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend it to anyone. At £6.50 per person to eat as much as you like, you can find much better options in Hillsborough. I felt like I had wasted my money and ended up feeling unwell for the rest of the evening and the next day. I rarely complain about food, but this time it was just not good. The only thing that was decent was the soup as a starter, and I wished I had just stuck to that instead of trying any of the main courses. After we finished our meal, we left immediately and do not plan on returning.

I have visited this restaurant a few times since it reopened a few months ago and it's a hidden gem. The food quality is excellent, thanks to their fantastic chef. The hosts are welcoming and friendly every time I visit. It's also a perfect place to host a party, with space at the back for a band, buffet, and up to 70 guests (my sister had her 40th birthday party there). I highly recommend this place and can't wait to see how popular it will become as more people discover its great qualities.
