El Sarape - Shelton

I ordered the special, and it was fantastic—particularly because it included shrimp! I absolutely love the food here. The service is consistently excellent, and the prices remain reasonable despite current inflation. It's a wonderful spot for a father-daughter date night. I even got my teenagers to put down their phones and engage in conversation for a bit!

The staff here are wonderful! We held a small birthday celebration for four people, and they kindly allowed me to drop off the cake the day before. When we were ready, they lit the candles and even sang "Happy Birthday" with us. Our meals were delicious, the service was incredibly fast, and the prices were excellent. This place truly offers the best Mexican food in Shelton. While the exterior might not look impressive, don’t let that deter you! We’ll definitely be coming back.

This is the best Mexican food I've had in years. It’s authentic, delicious, and affordable, with fabulous service during both of my visits. I also want to highlight how clean it is, including the restrooms. I can't wait to return!

Had dinner in the bar closed for 6 hours before the kitchen. Bartender was great, fast service for drinks and dinners. Food was great, beer was cold.

Just noticed this place the other day! I work right next door at McDonald's, filling in occasionally but next time I'm working, I'm going to try this place out!
