The barista was very kind and suggested a latte instead of a cappuccino because he felt they were not as bitter. He was right I usually require sugar but his latte was perfect as it was. We had our rambunctious 7 9 year olds with us for breakfast. We enjoyed crêpe, waffles, seasonal quiche, and pancakes (a bit different than we’re used to but still good) all presented with a generous portion of perfectly ripe fruit. Our picky younger daughter liked her waffles. They appeared to have vegan options for coffee drinks and food also some really nice looking take and bake dishes in their self serve refrigerator. They have a nice selection of greeting cards, locally made soaps, coffee paraphernalia and cute hand crocheted stuffed animals (that our daughters talked us into buying. We headed out satiated, ready to walk to see some local murals and continue our trip to Maine.
Small portion for the price but food was delicious! Love the atmosphere. However the resto is very small and tight inside. Service was good. A cute little cafe place
Love the entire vibe here. Eclectic. Take your time with Celestine Cafe. Everything tasted so fresh. The vegetables for salads even came from s as n employees garden. Artisan style menu, vegan vegetarian options. You can even do some gift shopping. Artisan locally made soaps, shaving cream, candles, food crayons, salad oils, coffee beans, environmentally friendly products and more. Definitely want to go back.
