Emerald City Coffee - side

Just moved this from my want to go to favorites. Really cool staff and reasonable prices. The coffee was decent but the date bar was very tasty and unique. I didn’t get to hang out for long but the eclectic decor and overall vibe is cozy.

This is a pretty good coffee spot. They have nice sitting areas and baked goods, but the oat milk they use isn't very good. It's a nice place in the neighborhood, but there are better coffee shops in Chicago.

I used to really really love this place considering it is a couple steps from my front door. The staff constantly changes every couple of weeks. They got rid of the best sandwich ever, the Caprese sandwich and a latte used to be well under five dollars now it’s $7.30. A Blueberry muffin is $3.50 when you can walk down to Jewel and get four of them freshly made for $3.99. They definitely lost my business until they lower their prices and bring back the Caprese sandwich.

Emerald City's muffins are the best! Fresh tasty. The barista/cashier today (Wednesday afternoon) is very patient helpful

Great coffee, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere with puzzles and board games. An absolute fixture in this part of Uptown
