Hana Tokyo - Sierra Vista

The food was delicious, but we were horrified to see a cockroach on our table after we finished eating. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

My family and I have traveled across the country multiple times and we always make it a point to stop at a Japanese Steakhouse. During our visit to our son, we discovered Hana Tokyo in Sierra Vista, AZ. This restaurant is definitely one of the top ones we have visited. Our Chef, Seth, put on an amazing show and the food he cooked for us was absolutely delicious. We had a great time and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal and entertaining experience. Thank you, Seth, for a fantastic evening!

I am a frequent consumer of Japanese cuisine and have visited Japan multiple times. The quality of the Japanese food at this restaurant is top-notch, which is the main reason why I am giving it 3 stars. Unfortunately, my dining experience was hindered by the hosts who did not seat us where we preferred, and a red-haired server who was constantly complaining about the customers. Despite these setbacks, the chef's entertaining cooking tricks added a fun element to our meal. However, the wait for our food was excessively long, even though the restaurant was not very crowded. The exceptional service provided by our server, who went above and beyond to accommodate us, including adjusting my drink order and ensuring my meal was prepared to my liking, was the highlight of our visit. Overall, the combination of our server's attentiveness and the high-quality and authenticity of the food earned this restaurant a 3-star rating.

This restaurant receives 2.5 stars from me. The food was not impressive, especially considering the high price. However, the service is what really stood out. My wife and I were looking forward to a nice meal, but the server seemed disinterested and did not provide even basic service. We won't be returning to this restaurant, despite the expensive bill.
