It's always crowded and difficult to find a place to sit. I'm not sure if Dine-in service has started again after COVID.
Eating at this restaurant as a non-Indian was a fascinating experience. I loved the food, the people, and the atmosphere! The portions were generous and there was a free flow of rice and staple vegetables for the vegetarian dishes.
I recommend visiting this restaurant in the early morning around 7:45am. Be sure to bring your own plate, spoon, and small bowl for the sambar as they serve the food on coated brown paper. The idly and medu vadai are delicious and served hot. I suggest going early in the morning for the best experience. The coconut chutney is decent, but I would recommend avoiding the red chutney. The prices are very affordable.
Idli with getti chutney very nice, I so like that chutney , they never mix additional water,
We had evening Ginger Tea with Roasted Steam Groundnuts on 10.9.2021. Excellent taste and cheap. Starts around 4.30pm and finish by 6pm.
