The grilled meats were a bit dry for my taste, but that's subjective. The baklava was served at room temperature with just the right level of sweetness. I would have preferred it to be served warm with a stronger buttery flavor. It was more chewy than flaky.
After dining at several Turkish restaurants, I can confidently say that Arkansas is one of the better ones. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful setting surrounded by lush greenery. While the food tastes similar to other Turkish establishments, the meat at Arkansas is noticeably more tender. During our visit, we tried the mixed grill and the Sultan's delight. Although the restaurant was busy and service was a bit slow, we still had a good time. It is worth noting that the prices were higher than what was shown in the old Google map photos.
The service at this restaurant was very quick and enjoyable. While I am not familiar with the expected taste of Turkish food, I found the dishes we tried to be quite enjoyable. I would be happy to return and would recommend this place to others. The only downside was that the baklava was overly sweet for my taste.
I love turkish food and gonna check out your restaurant soon after the “free advertisement” , hang in there , don’t let it affect your cooking update: foods good indeed. reasonable pricing. good service
Mixed kebabs were good esp the lamb. We all liked the kunefe for its fragrant crispy wheat strands pastry. The baklava was too sweet. I liked the sour sweet apple tea. The Turkish coffee was okay served in a pretty cup and saucer. Beautiful greenery and 'waterfalls ' are visible through the glass walls.
