Cartagine City - SIRACUSA

Awful. It's really hard to find a combination of really bad food and shockingly bad service like this in Italy. We dropped in for dinner because the place we intended to go was full, we would have been better off not eating at all. I'm sorry, I have absolutely nothing good to say about this restaurant.

Located next to the water, on a little terrace above the street level, really nice. A variety of seafood and pasta on the menu. They didn’t have 3 of 4 ordered dishes spagetti vongole, risotto funghi and spada gratin ? My wife was recommended gamberetti instead of vongole and accepted, whereafter the waiter came back and said they were out of spagetti!? My sons ordered calamare, one fried and the other grilled, folkowing which the waiter tried to make them order the same !? . No wine list, but they had wine. My 17-year ols son, who ordered a regular portion grilled calamare, got 2 small pieces calamare smaller than any kids portion I’ve seen. When asking the waiter about it, he just raised his shoulders and walked away. The food was good, but with the variety of restaurants in the area this is NOT the place to go to.

Una location particolare un colpo d'occhio entrando. Prossimanente ci ceneró e vi dirò altro. Si trova su due vie di ortigia ha doppio ingresso uno ingresso da sul lungo mare di levante. Da andare a visitare.

Cartagine il ristorante a Siracusa e un luogo che si mangia bene ci sente in famiglia fa piatti che solo qua poi trovare venite è non vi perderete

Il personale, nonostante qualche particolarità, si fa apprezzare. Il cibo, nonostante alcuni piatti del menù non erano disponibili, é abbondante e ottimo. Il posto é pazzesco, abbiamo cenato ad Ortigia, ma lontani dal caos turistico, con vista mare e coccolati dal vento. Consigliatissimo!!
