She didn’t write anything down but knew all of our orders from appetizers down to desserts! Then the food came! The food was delicious and everything was fresh! All of our food was cooked well and hot when it came to our table. The manager always checked on us and the cook/owner came out to greet us as well! The music added to the atmosphere! We really enjoyed ourselves and the prices were great for the quality! This is a Black Owned Business that I will support as long as they are in existence!
Went there for a wedding rehearsal dinner. We had a buffet due to the event and large group. All of the food was really good. The service and workers were sweet. The owner talked to us a bit and seemed like a lovely lady. The atmosphere in the place is awesome. It's very cozy and fits the jazz theme. There was a live band playing while we were there. Music can be loud but that's what you get for a love band. Overall this place is definitely worth your time if you want some cajun food.
We stayed at this restaurant for brunch to celebrate my father's birthday. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and friendly service. My surprise was because the location of property was numerous times. I ordered black salmon with scrambled eggs and one side broccoli. The salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious the spices was great. The eggs were good as the broccoli. To the table others ordered a variety of items that were all enjoyed. The service was quick and friendly. We were the only party in the restaurant. The restaurant looks like it has a music theme in the evening. Overall we had a great experience.
I love this place absolutely. Every meal I had eaten was consistently well prepared. For me consistency is important and a good customer service is the key. Loyal customer in production. I'm glad they moved to Front Street. I also enjoyed the new place!
I went to lunch with a big party. The restaurant has a very great atmosphere. It is equipped with various areas. There's an ingenious bar room I love the barrel tables exposed bricks like that. There is a VIP room at the top that can be booked for an extra big party or event. It wasn't busy when we were there, so I don't know how it works during the busy hours, but the staff was very pleasant. Our server was really helpful. The menu is very New Orleans with po 'boys shrimp grits charbroiled oysters. You have a sauce called Jazzy sauce, which is great. It has shrimp cancers in a tasteful sauce they put it on a lot of dishes. The Jazzy Cornbread, which covers a healthy piece of corbread with jazz sauce, is very good. The food came together almost all that many people don't like. The server hadn't dumped the soup salads, but a few minutes later the ducks come. But we were a big party I take to get all our orders, then supply all soups salads took time. Overall, I would definitely like to try again some different dishes. The parking lot was confusing so I think that the outside of the building could benefit from some signs. There is a tiny parking lot in front of the right side, but it was full on our arrival. We finally found more parking on the other side (left) of the Bldg. This part of the world is known for its creative parking (as I like to call it), but signs make people more convenient to help them get inside faster. Another sign that the big ramp does not bring to the front door before you could also be helpful.
