Cerro Di Montepetra

As our Italian is limited, we decided to book in advance a lunch stop for our travel from Bologna airport to Perugia last year. I found this restaurant on the internet and I sent an email in English asking if we could reserve a table. We received a response quite quickly from Stefano welcoming us in his very broken English. The restaurant is relatively easy to find and there is no issue with parking. There was already a few people dining when we arrived and we were greeted by a lovely lady who too made an effort to speak English to us; we returned the gratitude by replying to her in our extremely basic Italian. The dining tables overlook the beautiful hills and you have a slight breeze keeping you cool whilst eating. The food and service was wonderful at Cerro di Montepetra and we will certainly be making the trip out to visit them again this August. This restaurant certainly was a fantastic find!

I've been here for lunch in this country house booking just few hours before (they accept beople just booking a bit in advance as food is prepared freshly at the moment). The place is very nice, it is on ghe top of a hill with an amazing view on the valley below. Everything is ammaculately clean, included toilet and the kitchen. Food is amazing deliciouse, the chef is very creative and uses biological ingredients, most of them produced on their field. A bottle of biological wine is included in the menu that changes every day depending on season. Everything is home made, included the pasta and freshly cooked when guests arrive. We had starter, two different kind of pasta dish, main dish with meat and vegetable (but it is possible to order something vegetarian as well), dessert, bread, 1 bottle of water and 1 of wine at 29,00€. The owner and his wife are extremely kind and nice. We felt like staying at home. They also have rooms availables if you want to spe d the night there. I will definetely come back again!

On reports of some friends we went to lunch at this place. indescribable location, well reachable with immersed in the cesenati hills with an exciting panorama. the kitchen proposes a fixed menu consisting of dishes related to the territory given to the present day, care in the presentation and quality of the raw material is perceived immediately. professional and careful staff always available. low price for what is proposed to return for the winter menus. only pay attention at least hours in advance.
