Saffron At Banyan Tree Mayakoba

From the moment we walked in, Saffron was a delight to all our senses! The ritual washing of the hands with rose water was unique. The sound of roosting birds among the low hanging trees along side the calm emerald lagoon was so exotic! Dining above the water at a candle lit table with softly glowing lanterns overhead just added to the ambiance! Drinks were thoughtfully crafted and our appetizers were deliciously presented! Our wok seared steak and vegetable fried rice was amazing! Saffron will be our first stop upon a return visit! We can’t wait!

Breath-taking setting and arrival process. From booking to dining, the team was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The evening at Saffron was definitely a highlight of our trip to Mayakoba.
