The chili fish with glass noodles was a bit on the salty side. The chili lamb was prepared with Szechuan peppercorns and was my son’s favorite dish.
Been to this restaurant when they were in a smaller location. Now it's in a huge space right next to the Mama Lu's Dumpling House. This space is so big it offers a private VIP room.We always come here for the roast duck because it's soooo good. Well, it's still sooooooo good. Love how it's cut into fine little slices. No need to deal with bones or finding the meat. It's all nicely laid out on a beautiful platter.I also ordered their signature buns, the texture is sooo soft and chewy. I chose the pork and onion flavor. It's tastes just like buns I used to eat as a kid in Taiwan. It's rare to find buns of this quality. If you plan on coming here, it's recommended you reserve in advance and request the Peking duck platter. Otherwise they do sell out fast.
Came here for one of my birthday dinners, and If you know me, you'll know I love duck. They do run out of peking duck on a busy night so you want to give them a call and reserve a duck just in case. I walked in and the dining area was nice and clean and well decorated with big tables so if you have a party of more than let's say 6, they'll have you covered. There are also a couple of private rooms which also have plenty of seating for larger parties but I'm sure you'll have to reserve that. I came in a Wednesday night so it wasn't too busy. One thing stood out from this place was the customer service. They were kind and very attentive, but not hovering. Anything we needed they were in eye sights distance and can easily get there attention. It's like their service was easy for them and weren't uptight and pressured like most restaurants. Now the food. We ordered the peking duck of course, and It was delicious! I've had peking duck before, but this restaurant serves it with a thinner type of egg roll wrap. I've had it with fluffy white buns before but they served it with a warm thinner type of wrap kept in what you would keep warm tortillas in type of container, Genius! served with thinly sliced green onion and cucumbers on the side with sauce on the side too. Absolutely delicious! I came with my Girl, Mom and Aunt and they were pleased with this meal. I will definitely be coming here again for my Peking duck cravings.
A duck place is located in the City of Industry with plenty of good food, I'm surprised I haven't been here sooner. I came here with a few friends to enjoy a nice dinner. The tables here are family size so bring more people to try different dishes. Everything is shared and decided to get their duck special. Their smaller combo was $98.00 and you got a duck, duck soup, bok choy (veggies), steamed pork buns, two bowls of rice, and a choice between picking a meat dish. We decided to get sauteed lamb with onion slices. Everything tasted so good and traditional that everyone on the table liked it. I would recommend this place to friends and just have fun dinners here. If you don't like a duck, don't worry they have a ton of other dishes you can order by yourself. Just note that the dishes are family-style.
Good food but terrible service, you’d be lucky to ever get your food served
