Fenland Airfield - South Holland

Runways cafe is a little gem. Took my daughter on a trip in a chipmunk at the airfield and stopped to have Sunday lunch at the airfield cafe. Lovely hot food which is a first for us with a carvery. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The food was lovely, and the beef just melted in the mouth. Hats off to the chef. Extra points you can watch the plans from the cafe

Great flying experience, a warm welcome from everyone at the airfield. Highly recommended. According to my wife the café 's cakes are delicious

I came here with my family for my Dads 80th Birthday we had arranged a flight for him and food he did not know about flight until the pilot came out to get him he was soo surprised and thoroughly enjoyed the flight the food was lovely on the whole it was a lovely experience and all the staff were faultless so polite Thank you so much for making My Dad ,Richard s day special. Popped in for a coffee, saw the breakfast buffet and decided to eat. Fantastic full English and plenty of it too

The catering at Fenland Airfield is tip-top. Food is great quality and plenty of it. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. All in all, a great experience. The cakes and puddings were an optional extra for us but were soon snapped up as they were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth a detour if you're anywhere close.
