Driftwood Cafe - South Lake Tahoe

Visiting from NC. We had waffels, gravy biscuits, omlettes, Irish coffee, and french toast stuffed with cream cheese strawberries over a 4 day span. Service was excellent and Javier made us feel like family at each visit.

First and foremost, the customer service was exceptional from start to finish. Despite having to wait almost an hour, it was definitely worth it. We ordered the Hungry Hiker and the Carolina Connection, both of which were fantastic. Our Jamaican waiter was also amazing!

Quick and fun spot. Wonderful atmosphere and huge portions. We enjoyed every dish. Chris made our morning. The meat lover omelette was packed! Not a tourist trap, definitely feels like a local gem. Will be returning.

I visited this café on a Monday morning, expecting it to not be very crowded but it was. I believe this café probably always has a wait to get a table because the food is so good. I ordered the high sierra omelet which was delicious. Our waiter was professional. The café was clean and they were playing 80s music, which was enjoyable.

First time here and it did the trick!! The food was amazing and definitely was filling!!
