Goodies Cafe - South Mossman River

I had a wonderful vegetarian chickpea fritter wrap filled with crunchy greens at this charming cafe located on the main street of Mossman. The coffee was also excellent.

This charming café has a delightful atmosphere. The food is excellent, the staff is welcoming, and they also offer convenient items for travelers to purchase. Whether you're stopping in for a meal, a fresh juice, or a coffee, be sure to pick up a few things that will come in handy. This will definitely be my go-to spot after a swim or walk at Mossman Gorge.

We originally planned to have lunch at the bakery down the road, but when we saw that it was empty and 'Goodies' had a number of locals dining there, we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a good choice, as even though we only had sandwiches, they were beautifully presented and it was clear that there is a strong effort to ensure quality. My BLT was delicious, the coffee was excellent, and the staff provided friendly and prompt service. Overall, 'Goodies' is a great little place to stop for a meal.

The staff here are really polite and helpful. The few times I have called in here to grab a bite to eat, the food has always been fresh and tasty. I generally get take away.There is always lots of other items to look at and purchase. Natural foods and organic products.

Maybe we were unlucky but the young man who served us was not friendly but seemed rather bored. Our food came quickly and was good value but the chickpea wrap lacked flavour and the omlette was the same. Disappointing.
