Zabb Thai Cuisine - South Mossman River

We stopped off on our way home from a big day out at Zabb ordered three dishes to take home to family for dinner. The staff were lovely and the food was tops.

We ordered a take away meal at the start of our holiday (due to a recommendation), and loved it so much that we came back twice more during our vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome, tasty food, and wonderful friendly service. One night we ate in, instead of takeaway, and loved the way the food was artistically plated. Excellent value. And, we were able to park right out front every time!

The restaurant did not answer the phone and the shop front appeared to be closed. It has been replaced by Penny's Cafe, where I enjoyed a decent cup of coffee this morning. It seems Mossman is lacking in Thai cuisine, if that is indeed the case.

I enjoy preparing prawns, and every chef does a good job. I believe Thai cuisine uses special ingredients in their cooking, whether it be in a curry or sauce, and it tastes truly amazing. While Indian cuisine incorporates cumin in their curry, Thai cuisine utilizes coriander and ginger. It's a delicious exploration of flavors!
