The Standby - South San Francisco

Great place that's been here for many years. A Mainstay in SSF, where you might have founded a biotech company on a napkin from here. Right on the highway near some motels and car shops they have a relaxed mood for a simple date, Trivia night Wednesday or Monday night football. They make great classic cocktails, some with turns and have a great beer selection with local craft batches. Summer nights can contain some time in the back terrace or an after-work drink, in any case a place that will not change up in the face of the many new buildings. I love it

Hidden jewel with lots of potential. Bartender was very knowledgeable and experienced. Good music, a terrace for the locals.

Diveable with a surprisingly beautiful outdoor terrace. Good beers on Hahn. Great place to hang up for a beer after work.

If you can look past the dive bar, it's perfect. You even have convenient corner bars for you to post and simply drink. This is a diver? Moscow mule is not bad for a dive either

Walked into this junk happy when the Bar tender rudly asked what I wanted owner seems upset and this is the second time he doesnt seem to have many people here due to his attitude.
