Amazing pub has lovely furniture and is run by great people. I attended the Soup micro fundraising event was a real positive place to be. The vegan breakfast was amazing as well

I adore this restaurant. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is always fantastic. Both vegans and non-vegans will enjoy it!

I thought all the best dining spots in Essex had been discovered, but the Railway Hotel in Southend proved me wrong! My girlfriend and I visit frequently for tattoos and shopping from Brentwood, and will now make it a regular stop. The most impressive part wasn't just the tasty food and reasonable prices, but the incredibly friendly service and diverse menu. It's a vegan's dream but carnivores are also welcome.

The restaurant offers a great selection of vegan food on the menu, along with some delicious craft beers to accompany it. The pizzas are the best in town and all for under ten pounds. The staff are helpful and willing to suggest menu items. The atmosphere is cool and vibrant with a hip London pub feel. It's a welcome change for a town that may be a bit behind the times. The bartender even went above and beyond to take a great photo of our group. We will definitely be returning.

Doesn't think there were any hidden gems related to Essex food, but the Railway Hotel in Southend has proven me absolutely wrong! It was the enormously humble, welcoming service and the immense selection of courts that win for me. This establishment is a vegan paradise, but meat eaters feel welcome!
