Kashmiri tea, they call it different is a must try if your here for the first time or have never tried it before. Owners have put in a great effort and I wish them all the success.
Excellent halal food. Awesome service. Beautiful decor. Mint lassi is a sure must have.
Went here for dinner on recommendations of a friend. My group and I were not at all acquainted w/ Pakistani food and made our menu selections on a well, this sounds good! basis...we were not disappointed. Everything we had was good; some of our selections included the lamb korma, chicken handi, the tawa naan, and the beef kababs. The food was excellent w/ just amount of spice! The owners were both very friendly, and they were patient with us while we figured out the menu. Highly, highly recommend Nina 's to anyone looking to try Pakistani cuisine or just looking for a good meal in general. The storefront is rather small so I 'd recommend take-out for larger groups, but credit to both the owners for how well they make the space work.
I am so happy I discovered this spot. It is completely devoid of any commercial gimmicks a lot of Indian/Pakistani restaurants use in their recipes. It is SO FRESH. Classical recipes without any twists and turns, served exactly the way they?re supposed to be served. We ordered the chicken biryani. So sumptuous without being sticky. So spicy without throwing the entire spice rack into it. Aromatic and delicate. One of the best I?ve had better than any in NYC or Philly by far. Better than many of the more commercial kitchens in Edison. Also, not to mention the absolutely outstanding chaapli kababs and lamb korma. The korma is how my grandma used to make it in Lucknow. You can tell it gathered a little more color in Pakistan. Lastly, I wish they would figure out how to open a franchise in Brooklyn. It is so required. But Nina does all her own cooking, so it?s a bit of a puzzle to solve, but I hope they find someone great to solve this with soon. Lots of best wishes to this duo!
Truly a pleasant place to eat and smile. The owners are sweet and hardworking. Although the place is small and the hours are weird for a restaurant, it is worth to get in and taste the food. We also ordered some biryani which they gave us fresh on Sunday when the restaurant was closed. Forgot to take a picture before we finished it but nothing was left at the end. Really appreciated the effort put into customer service. Must Try.
