Everest - Southlake

All my Texas friends...you gotta add this place to your list of GREAT places to eat! I included pics of the menu! The Pastrami Burger was amazing...peppered pastrami chased by a smokey burger, letuce, tomatoes, mustard and thousand island are optional all on a fresh warm bun! OMG get here! The place is spotless and clean. Great atmosphere, cozy booths and tables. The service us 'old school ' and over the top great! Very friendly staff and owner...he was so proud if the place he brought out his chef! Wonderful people and amazing food! What a treat! Oh yeah it 's from CA...Glendale, La Crescenta, Upland and Santa Clarita as well!

I can 't wait to try the rest of the menu! I had a 1/3 lb burger which was WAY more than I could eat. It was huge! The lettuce was fresh and the tomato was sliced generously thick. They put the Thousand Island on both buns, which was a win for me because most places only put condiments on the top. The fried veggies were AMAZING! The french fries were a thin cut, the kind that are best eaten right away....they probably wouldn 't be as good for a ToGo order. Great food aside, I have to brag on the impeccable customer service! I thought the guy at the register was the owner because he had a genuine concern for our customer experience, but he was not the owner. He was however the manager, so he had authority to really go above and beyond. I guess being a new restaurant, he was giving some freebies so we could experience more of the menu. We didn 't order the fried veggies, but he said he was sure we would love them and he threw them in for free. As I was eating, I was studying the vast menu for my next visit. He was going around to all the dining customers to check on them. When he got to us, I asked if they make their own chili, to which he replied, 'Yes, we also make our own salsa. ' I commented that was going to try the chili on my next visit. 30 seconds later he arrives at our table with a small sample of it. And yes, it was good. I really hope this place is successful so I will have a great place to eat from time to time. I had my eye on every order being delivered to the tables. It all looked delicious!

Really tasty pastrami, huge size sandwich. My wife ordered a Greek salad and was quite happy. The only complaint would be the fries were a bit overdone but not a big deal.

My first visit was really great! They cooked it fresh, so there was a bit of a wait, but they didn't skimp on the portions, it was clean and put together like someone cared, and was really very tasty. The wife approved too! :

This is such a neat place! Lots of delicious random choices (note picture of a pastrami burger..seriously , everything is super clean and nice, and the service was quick. Will definitely visit again!
