Firstly the staff and owner are lovely, super friendly and make you feel right at home. The food was also delicious- really succulent chicken, curry full of flavour and just a really gorgeous meal. Will be definitely coming back.
We live in the area and got take away from here. IT WAS FANTASTIC! Generous portions as well! Look forward to dining in when the COVID lockdown lifts...
I hadn't been to Tandoori Nights for a long time, as they had been closed following a fire. Went back and was delighted afresh. The dishes at Tandoori Nights are freshly cooked and individually spiced and fragranced. Nothing is drenched in pre made sauces as in so many high street Indian restaurants. And no grease. We had Channa Chapati for starter the chapati was puffy and freshly fried, and the channa so deliciously spiced. Then a series of veggie dishes with pilau rice, all excellent quality and with different spices and flavourings. It is a little more expensive than other nearby Indians, but this reflects high quality ingredients and attention to detail in the cooking. There was a deal which continued the Eat Out To Help Out in September, I'm not sure of the terms, but two of us each paid £18 for a 2 course meal with drinks. We shared one rice which was plenty for us. The service was friendly, professional and efficient. The decor is smart and sophisticated. Beautiful starched tablecloths, good cutlery.
Authentic Pakistani cooking. Takeout quality as good as sit in which is a rarity. Ghost Khata Handi is out of this world.
The takeaway LAMB BIRIYANI contained about 4 small pieces of Mutton NOT LAMB as advertised. The prawn puri contained prawns that were so small you could not taste them as they held no flavor due to their size. Really disappointing, they need to offer the same quality of food for takeaway as they serve in the restaurant
