Good food. good quality. the environment is not the best because it is located directly at the airport.

We were yesterday, Thursday 23.07.2020, in this adventure bistro as we visited the city of Speyer and I am a plane lover anyway. Therefore, it had been offered to make a detour at the Speyer airfield. The experience facing the planes was mega. In contrast, the experience in this bistro was unfortunately the opposite. We had a fanta and a special drink, these were so well praised on the drink card. Unfortunately, instead of Fanta, we only get orange limonade although we have said Fanta and this is clearly in the map. Should something else be presented like orange lemonade instead, you should point out the guest. The taste is a distinct difference! For the reasons mentioned, I also have to deduct points here. The bistro is exclusively self-service, which is no longer bad. The MA at the counter was friendly but very reserved. We were sitting in the beer garden and watched the numerous aircraft (Cessna 172, DA20, etc.). The outdoor area was so tidy, but you can also make more of it here so that it is more appealing. The toilets were more bad than right. When entering the toilets one was received with a very unpleasant smell, even the toilet itself does not make a particularly clean impression. Most disturbed me here was the smell that could be compensated for by a scent dispenser. Look at the ceiling you can find here and there spider weaving and the associated pets. Here it should be cleaned better, even what is above eye height. Since the toilet for me personally, certainly for other guests, is an important aspect of this, I had to draw clear points. Since we were already at other airfields, we can assess this as well as it is much more inviting at other locations. Finally, for a bistro as good as possible, but capable of improvement. Anyone who likes planes and airfields sits right in the first row and does not do much wrong here with a small snack for a drink.

Nice restaurant behind the technical museum. bids will be a small lunch buffet with appetizer and three main dishes that can be combined. The dining room makes a clean impression, the terrace is a cozy place in beautiful weather. The quality of food is good and more than reasonable for the low price. Self-service

The place probably lives from the location. Otherwise, it is a typical case for that the processes are oriented towards that which it is optimal for the operators. The guest/customer has to function easily and then it fits. Self-service is quite ok. But without getting a table before and remembering the number until you get in the queue at the vault, you can't order. Apparently, the cash register requires the table number. Since the dishes are also offered outside the house, I already ask myself what table number is entered. As I said, I couldn't give up an order and I didn't want to put myself in line with the needs of the guest. So can't make a statement about the quality of food. One should sometimes ask the question of where the turnover comes from and who in this interaction provides a service.

We were in the Meridian for the first time on recommendation and were served very nicely. In a relaxed atmosphere we tried the recommended chickens and were not disappointed. Very well seasoned and super crispy. The beer garden invites you to observe the various aircraft, armchair balloons and helicopters. Thus, the location also offers a good entertainment for the whole family. Everything is very clean and the services even gave tips for further excursions. We are very happy to come back because the guest room is also worth a visit in bad weather.
