Lovely laid back atmosphere. Staff was all friendly and good, if not very experienced, but I can?t defiantly sympathize with the labor market of late. In any case they corrected any concerns I brought up. Good job y?all. Confusing entrance (it?s inthe back, through the gate). Good the mai tai was WAY sweet, I?d skip that. They had a coco tini (coconut, cucumber) that wasgood and not sweet, I recommend. Prime filet was good, but not great for $57. Came out more cooked than it should be (overcooked) with a slight full body char on the outside which was delicious, and was still juicy despite being pretty well done evenin the center. They didn?t over salt or spice it which is highly appreciated. Loaded baked potato was smallish but for me justthe right size I just me compared to what you might normally expect. Mine was very salty but I suspect that?s a fluke becauseeven my steak wasn?t overly salted (which is a great thing). Lastly the Key Lime Pie was good. Not too sweet, nothing over thetop. My only suggestion no Graham cracker crust which in my opinion is an absolute must for key lime pie. I?d still get itagain, was good despite missing the crust. I?ll be back. I?d do 3.5 but suspect they could easily hit a 4 or better may havecaught them on an off day.
Menu does not really give a good description for items. Food is bland steak was under cooked and rough, unusual for a prime ribeye. It seems every time I order something here it is not what you expect when you read the menu. Service is always greatbut for what they serve they are way overpriced!
Came here on Aug 9th right at 5p when they opened. I wish I would have remembered to take pictures before devouring some of the food. The firecracker shimp was AMAZING! We couldn't get enough of it. Also had the ahi tuna appetizer that was quite tasty. 3of us had delicious steaks 2 of them were cooked to perfection, one was slightly over, but not by enough to need to send back. The fourth person had fish he said it was great! The desserts were okay/average but probably more of a preference thingthan anything. Our waitress, Jaiden (one of the 5 J's), was lovely and attentive. Definitely will come back here if I'm in thearea.
Top shelf! We were told by so many people to dine here. Being foodies and steak enthusiasts we have had our share of hyped up fairy tales about steaks that are must haves and very few live up to the hype. HOWEVER, J5 is not a fairy tale. From the outsideit looks like a middle of the road steakhouse but inside is another story. Fast, friendly service. Everybody 's familyatmosphere. And of course our food was wonderful and fairly priced. The steak DID in fact live up to the hype. Well prepared, properly seasoned and melted in my mouth. Barely needed a knife. Job well done J5!!!
