Lots of parking on the street and it was busy with locals and had a good small town diner feel. The menu was a basic dinner one with nothing new. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich with Onion Rings. My food arrived in good time but I was disappointed with my sandwich, it was really plain. Just a piece of chicken in a bun. Yes that's what I ordered but sort of expected some sort of garnishing. The bun was really fresh but really it was the most plain meal I've had. The service I received to was nothing remarkable or noteworthy so really this was an average diner at best. Would go elsewhere next time.
We tried the Family Diner for breakfast, and it was a pretty good dining experience. The restaurant is fairly large with ample space. Tables are spacious and seating is comfortable. Decor was simple and pleasant, and everything appeared to be very clean.Staff were friendly, and we were seated quickly upon entering. Our beverage order was taken promptly, and our food order shortly thereafter. The FD only serves breakfast and lunch, no dinner service is available. A quick glance at the menu showed a pretty good selection of luncheon selections, but we concentrated on breakfast items.Standard fare including omelets, French toast, and biscuits and gravy were present, plus a number of egg/meat/hash brown options. A large cinnamon roll appeared to be one of their signature items.I ordered a corn beef hash combination, and French toast, eggs, meat, and hash browns were ordered by my brothers as well. As a side dish, I chose the cinnamon roll. The food was by and large pretty good. Corn beef hash and French toast were okay but not outstanding. The eggs were prepared properly, and finally a chef understood what crispy hash browns meant. The sausage patty was huge and pretty good... apparently it is made locally. The cinnamon roll was pretty good too, a bit dry but the frosting made up for it.A couple of things to note. Portions were quite impressive... some of the biggest I have observed in recent times. My large tomato juice was actually large . And, I was allowed to choose a cinnamon roll as a side item without being upcharged ... very cool ?.Service was great... staff were friendly and very attentive. Prices were reasonable and on par with most of my recent breakfast purchases. All in all, this was a good meal. I would like to try lunch here sometime down the way.
Food was fantastic! Staff very helpful and nice. Portions were large and reasonably priced. Sit at the round table if you want to make friends with the locals! Everyone was friendly!

Ate here with a group of 5 at 11am. The place was busy. Breakfast was hot and served for reasonable prices. I had “the Matt”. Enjoyed it so much I had to recreate it the next week when we were home from vacation. Thanks for great family breakfast.
