Great food as always. Unfortunately, the late night greeter on the microphone just isn't friendly and comes across as unhappy and doesn't care. Minus 1 star. There are plenty of other options for eating chicken nearby.Food: 5/5

To me, This was a good chicken finger sandwich and to be fair, all in my group though it was great. The battered coating was soft vs a hard crunch. Great cold slaw. The fries were a bit soft to me. VictorB

I’m absolutely appalled and angry at the way I was just treated. I came during lunch around 11:50AM 11:58AM for lunch and waited quite a bit at drive through to order. When I got to go finally order, I started to order and the female taking my order began to mock me after I started to order not realizing that what she meant for only herself and co workers to hear I heard. I asked to speak to the manager and all he wanted to do was to compensate my food. He took her off the headset as well. My issue is that why does she feel comfortable enough to mock a customer and her co workers and manager are okay with that and laugh with her? The manager didn’t even have her come to the window and have the courage to face me and apologize. She needs to be fired immediately. I did not want free food, after this experience who wants to eat? If she’s mocking me and they’re laughing and this is something that is okay… why would anyone want trust that food for consumption!? When I come back, she better not be there because this is a tik tok to go viral. I don’t think this is funny at all and it’s so disrespectful. And anyone else who laughed after she mocked me also needs to be fired. If anything the only one who looked empathetic and embarrassed was the manager. But this is absolutely unacceptable. when you go back to view I was in a 2023 black Hyundai Tucson

My friends and family always talk about Canes and how much they love it. A few nights ago I decided to try it and visited the location off of Kuykendah. I received our order and I opened it to check it before driving off since it was my first time there and when I tell you the chicken strips look like they have been barely fried. They were so light in color that I was afraid to eat them I asked the gentleman if he was sure that they had been cooked and he said yes two of my four fingers barely had chicken crisp on them and you could see the chicken meat we got home and as I was very disgusted. .. the strips had no flavor and the coleslaw was also flavorless. I do a lot of Google reviews and almost never have a really bad experience but this food was not good and I do not plan on visiting this restaurant again.
