Omo Japanese Soul Food - Springfield

30 minutes wait for a single bowl. Music-less atmosphere. The amount of food for $12 is respectable, you'll fill up no matter how hungry. However, the pork I would have liked more tender, the broth was overwhelmed by green onion, and disagree with the choice to incorporate corn. Interior decor looked sparse and haphazard. Unfortunately disappointed with my visit.

The sushi was very disappointing. Couldn't eat more than one bite. It was mushy and had no flavor other than a gross fishy taste. Service was terrible, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Also heard them complaining about us before we left. We tried to be nice about it and it was not our first time eating sushi.

I was craving ramen and decided to give this restaurant a try, and it was 200% worth it! I like the decor of the restaurant, the uniforms of the waitresses, but the star of the show is definitely the food. The broth was incredibly flavorful, the Chashu was impeccable, and I honestly wish I would've come into this place absolutely starving. Don't even second guess coming here, I 11/10 recommend it!
