Tutti Frutti Breakfast Lunch

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was delightful. While the service was generally good, it was quite slow in our area. Other sections seemed to have a smoother flow, but we waited over an hour just to receive our breakfast. Interestingly, the group that was seated right before us finished their meal and left before we even got our food.

Our reservation was for 12 PM, and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a waiter to take our order. Unfortunately, it took an hour for our food to arrive. While the restaurant was busy, I don't think it should take that long for food to reach the table. When the food finally did come, it was quite good. However, I'd recommend not going there unless you have plenty of time to spare.

I ordered takeout and went to pick it up, paying in cash. The total was around $20, and I handed the cashier $30. Instead of simply bringing back my change, she asked if I wanted it, which is not the standard practice—she should have said she’d be back with it. When she returned, she handed me just $2.25 and walked away, which is nowhere near the correct change from $30. I had intended to tip her a percentage when she brought my change, but the way they handled it felt like they were taking a tip for themselves—this felt dishonest. I waited a few minutes for her to come back so I could address it, but she never returned, so I left. Additionally, there were no utensils or napkins in the bag.

The food at this restaurant was just average. I visited on a Saturday, so it was understandably crowded, but we had to wait about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. I understand it's busy, but management should consider hiring more staff. The waitstaff also didn't check on us throughout the meal, and there were no coffee refills offered. While I realize the situation was hectic, it's clear that management needs to address these issues. The images on the menu looked appealing, but when the food arrived, the portion of fruit was disappointing. Overall, it took nearly two hours for our meal, and I had to ask the waitress for refills and the bill.

Our server was outstanding, but unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations. The ham and cheese crepe was more like a ham and cheese spread rather than actual cheese. While the flavor was okay, I would have much preferred real cheese. As for the apple and cheese crepe, it was filled with apple pie filling, which we found quite unappetizing—it was left untouched. Sadly, we left the restaurant still feeling hungry.
