Plantopia - St Albans

I hadn't heard about this place before, but thanks to HappyCow I'm glad I checked while passing through. Best takeaway food I've had in a while. I ordered the katsu curry, side of buffalo wings and chocolate cake. It all tasted simply amazing! Have to make sure I'm in the area again to try out some other dishes. As a side note; it's not very clear where the actual place is (atleast to me), but if you follow instructions on where to park when placing order for collection and call when you arrive they'll bring it out to you.

Simply the best takeaway I’ve ever had and the fact that’s it’s 100% vegan, makes this claim harder to reach. These guys have nailed vegan cooking.

Most delicious vegan takeaway. Gluten free options on lots of dishes. The bang bang skewers are my favourite and I’ll order from here again and again. Updated from previous review on 2022-04-12

Really unclear that there isn’t a shop to pick food up from. Also not very good at picking up the phone…. Eventually they called when I made my way back into town, the bloke seemed friendly and apologetic but still didn’t offer us the option to collect or deliver. Probably great for people living in St Albans, but if you’re just visiting perhaps try elsewhere to avoid the confusion.

OMFG do not hesitate if you feel you are missing out on some gastronomic pleasure in your life! Food really does taste as good as it looks
