I went to this restaurant for lunch and stood at the counter for 5 minutes, waiting for someone to take my order. The staff completely ignored me, even though I was the only customer waiting to order.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for a quick meal here and were greeted by unfriendly staff. We also noticed the dirty floors and tables. The restaurant was not busy.

Even though we are fast-food-joint junkies, we seldom get to an A & W since there are none near home. A stop at the Pen Centre mall gave us a chance to re-visit the restaurant chain of our youth, except at that time, the A & W was a drive-in.My crispy chicken burger was OK, a good size, and the bun better than those served at the other "joints". The real surprise was the onion rings - so many !!! and they had a totally different look, texture and taste = delicious.The Momma Burger was also good, but the fries, again, were much different than those at McDs, Harvey's, KFC, ... There were plenty, but they were "soft" though properly cooked - but still good.The prices of lunch for two at fast food restaurants are quickly approaching those of the pub food one might get at a diner or bar. Ours (2 combos) although nothing special, cost about $ 18. incl. tax.Plenty of choices at the Pen Centre food court and plenty of seating.

Visited the restaurant at 5am, I was served by Rob that was friendly and took the time to receive our 2 separate orders with excellent customer service, Highly recommended if you crave a burger at 5 am :)
