Visited for a light lunch and found service to be outstanding could not have been more helpful or accommodating for someone who had recently had a hip replacement. Food was excellent and coffee to finish was piping hot. Will definitely return.
In the coffee shop, I ordered an extra hot latte but received a lukewarm drink instead. When I asked for it to be remade, I was told that the cup was triple insulated and making it hotter would scald the milk, which wasn't true. This kind of response was off-putting, as in my own business, I always apologize and rectify any issues with guests. Overall, I would recommend going to other local and independent businesses like The Friendly Loaf or Wright's on Cornhill for better coffee and service. Don't bother with this place if you want a satisfying customer experience.
This establishment has transformed from a restaurant to a farm shop, but still offers outdoor seating for enjoying coffee and cake. The cakes are consistently delicious, with gluten-free options available. The bread and French sticks from The Friendly Loaf are especially tasty, offering proper bread. In addition to this, there is a variety of other food options such as meat, fruits, and vegetables. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit.
Out for the day and needed a coffee so stopped here. I couldn’t decide if it’s a coffee stop or restaurant but either way it looked lovely. Just had a coffee and it was really good. Staff were lovely
