The Marsh Harrier is a perfect family-friendly restaurant. We loved the kids activity area and the simple children's menu. The food was unpretentious and had a nostalgic, school dinner charm. This isn't a criticism at all, if we wanted fine dining we'd go somewhere else and expect to pay 3/4/5 times as much! Staff were friendly and helpful, and looking through the events there seems like you have a lot going on, which is great. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will come back.
The food was absolutely amazing as always. The staff are so friendly and don't pester you whilst your eating or drinking. There's lots to choose from on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. Alex has done a fabulous job of bringing it back to life again. We can't wait to come back for another meal again.
We had a horrendous experience at the beginning of March when there was no official Manager in place and changes with the Staff but thought we'd give them another chance last night as we use this Pub regularly. Last night the service was impeccable. We explained about our previous experience and they couldn't have apologised more. There were lots more staff on duty, the food was so much better, we were able to sit in a quieter part of the Pub as our Son has special needs, we all had a very enjoyable experience
That was the best burger i ever had! Big thanks for chef Jay! Food was really good! Verry fresh, beef was amazing! Definitely will go back! All atmosphere was nice, we were served by Pippa, and one more girl. Girls were lovely! Thank you so much!
