The Golden Lion - St Ives

We have been going to golden lions for years and always have a great time. the personal is so nice and friendly and the eating is always top notch. the latest renovation is fantastic and has really improved the place. a visit is worthwhile on Friday especially on steak evenings.

Have just spent the last week in st ives and last Sunday used the golden lions in the evening for their excellent Sunday roast, I think we have eaten there about four times since, always a fabulous meal, always friendly, great staff and also welcome real ale in top condition! I have only one critique when they call it that this big pub is 250 miles away from my hometown tewkesbury!

A very warm welcome, dog friendly and fabulous food! I had pork tenderloin and my wife had the whole plaice. Both the best we've ever had. Proper restaurant quality food. Thoroughly recommended!

Tidy pub with several good real ales, a pleasant, chatty landlord and staff. They had goid live music on in the back bar which was very atmospheric. The food menu was interesting and good value and the meal we had was very well cooked and presented
