My absolute favorite dish is the Tikka roll, which features naan wrapped around a delicious veggie Tikka curry that has a hint of mint, a touch of sweetness, and notes of onion and garlic, all beautifully infused with the enticing aromas of Indian spices. If you're short on time, I recommend calling ahead since they offer both dine-in and takeout options. In addition to the Tikka roll, their menu includes other Indian classics such as pav bhaji, gulab jamun, rasgulla, and lassi. On my most recent visit, I tried the Nawab lassi, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. It was too watery and filled with ice, lacking the rich flavor that should characterize a "nawab" lassi. However, everything else was fantastic, and don't forget to enjoy the complimentary mint and strawberry toffee!
I ordered the Butter Chicken, and it was quite disappointing. I'm not even sure I was eating chicken; it tasted more like pork. I paid $25 for six large pieces that were too big to fit in my mouth, and the sauce resembled canned tomato soup. I won't be returning.
After we placed our order, the staff seated us but then neglected us for about 25 minutes. I eventually had to get up to ask for water while we waited for our food. When it finally came, 5 minutes later, a server lazily brought it to our table—showing a troubling lack of effort. Additionally, the dishes were dirty and not properly cleaned, and the overall hygiene of the restaurant was quite disappointing. After an exasperating 40-minute wait, our food finally arrived, making the experience feel like an endless struggle. This restaurant could certainly use some serious improvements.
The food wasn’t the biggest problem; the bathroom was the most horrifying sight I’ve ever seen. It looked like the toilet hadn’t been cleaned in two years. On the positive side, they did have nice paper towels. Sadly, the food was also served cold.
If you’re a fan of spicy food, this may not be the right restaurant for you. The wait time for your meal can be quite lengthy. When it comes to flavor, the dishes are overpriced and fail to meet expectations. Even after asking for a spicier option, the food still lacks true heat. They rely on sauces and seasonings that only provide a mild kick, allowing the flavor to be overshadowed by the sauces instead of showcasing genuine spiciness.
