I walked in with $20 (yes, I'm a bit of a casual gambler) and left a couple of hours later with $10. I go there for the entertainment, not to win enough for a mortgage payment. The staff I interacted with were incredibly nice and helpful. Service: 5/5.
I'm not familiar with the rooms, but if they're anything like the rest of the hotel, you can rest assured they'll be great. The location is excellent, and it was delightful to enjoy views of the river from the casino steps. The service and staff were wonderful. Overall, I would rate the service a perfect 5 out of 5.
I’ll borrow a thought from a fellow guest: the hotel charges a 'resort fee,' yet offers no amenities. There’s no microwave available anywhere in the hotel, the pool is not operational, the fitness facilities are lacking, and late at night, the elevator was out of service. WiFi wasn’t reliable 24/7, there’s no bar on the first floor (it’s closed), and housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Essentially, it’s just somewhere to sleep. By 9:00 pm, the casino was quite messy, with trash, drink cups, and overturned ashtrays overflowing near the popular slot machines. I noticed a few staff members pushing cleaning carts around, but they rarely stopped to clean. The employees, from the front desk to the casino floor, often seemed annoyed to be approached, and some were quite rude. While there were some table games open, there was only one waitress on duty, and she didn’t attend to anyone at the slot machines. For non-smokers, the scene isn’t much better. There were dirty, smelly ashtrays on the slot machines, ashes scattered everywhere, and heavy smokers nearby who couldn’t seem to understand that not everyone enjoys secondhand smoke. If you wanted a drink, you had to trek to a bar located at either end of the casino. Overall, this was by far the worst service we've ever experienced at a casino. If you can handle the smoke, dirty machines, and overflowing ashtrays, you might feel right at home. As for food and drinks, you’ll need to walk to the casino, as there are none available on-site.
The casino it’s self isn’t a bad casino. Never really had an issues here other than some table games not being open but that seems to be an industry standard. They have been doing some remodeling so it’s nice to see updates coming.Hotel Lumiere is terrible and not even worth a free room if they offer it. Attached is also the Four Seasons which is an out of this world hotel and the best in St. Louis.Restaurant options are limited it seems.
Staff is rude on day shift and only reason why continue to visit is because I prefer the slots and games.otherwise I 'd never visit if depended on the main staff for my return. Very snooty staff and vibe eard them once say u cannot come in because you associate with those people down there meaning homeless people, which I felt was beyond their business and if person is 21 yrs old and comes to gamble should be able to access casino and play no matter what their personal life and personal friendship s are.
