La Bay Des Pirates - St Pierre

Unfortunately, the pizza we took was not good. It seems that mostly the whole pizza was made with canned food, even the pizza dough was bad. Pasta we ordered was very good.

The bartender Guy knows his staff and There is a lot of drinks on the menu! He even plays songs from our country. Pizza and chicken chop suey were good.

The Ambiance is great and the setting too. But it took ages until we could order and the same for the delivery of our ordered dishes....and we picked the check at the counter because this would have taken again ages. The server was not a good sales person at all and gave the impression that he is not interested in the customer whatsoever. I must say that the food was very good and tasty but the entire package is not right. Too bad

We visited twice both for dinner and for take away pizzas. The food was quite good in both instances but the service was kind of slow. We waited almost twenty minutes for the check. Maybe it is a cultural thing. One can choose to sit inside or on the roofed terrasse where you will have to live with some traffic noise

We arrived late from the airport. We popped in to check of they could accommodate us (which they did very graciously). It was our first meal in Mauritius. Service was fast. The staff went out of their way to be hospitable we didn't notice that they were only taking cash so they had to wait while my husband went to draw money. The owner gave us a complimentary shooter. It was a good first experience.
