So I was curious to check this suburban restaurant with an exotic name. Here are some things observed: The cafe has adequate and eye catching signage easily spotted on the busy main road in this congested strip mall. It appears to be set up for dinning and buffet. I went to the cashier counter for kind assistance, and received a warm greeting but as I 'm limited with the tea languages and pleasantries I could only communicate that I came here and to eat with my friend standing next to me. The pleasant owner was quickly introduced to me and he kindly explained there was no buffet during the week. (Bummer But I was welcome to order a pizza or something else off the menu. However, there were no menus. My cross cultural brain kicked on. Of course! With glee everything must be prepared as available. The fresh menu, not an actual printed menu! (That signaled to me it 's a modest place keeping it fresh. Perfect. I declined to order the pizza, which confused everyone as I was a blonde lady and wanted the traditional menu instead. But as I was fairly comfortable asking for the other menu and very polite, they capitulated. Yes, I was not wanting pizza but traditional food. This was an anomaly at first but the staff seemed to understand. I was ok without the pizza. And the food received was good. This location has two different clientele the pizza walk up retail transaction and the other sit down off the menu traditional food. While I was there they had foot traffic coming in for pizza. And the pizza is good. I 've ordered it several times. This place has a hole in the wall feel inside, but the owners are so chill and sweet. And very proud if the pizza. We keep returning for it. This review is way over due. I haven 't been back during Covid 19 (this review is pre Covid and hope all is well and they are thriving.
Needed to get takeout in a hurry and tried this place food was great! Plenty authentic and spicy. Big portions. Beef curry was outstanding. One of the better Indian places in Sugar land/Missouri City. The owner is very nice. I think his son, who is very sweet, was also helping. That really made an impression on me and I'd recommend this hidden treasure to everyone.
Dropped in on a weekday for lunch. I had the chicken Marsala. It was flavorful and a pretty good portion size. The drawback to this place is the atmosphere and it is a definite hole in the wall. Weekday lunch and it was empty. Apparently they primarily cater during the week and offer a weekend buffet.

Went with my friend who is from Kerala for lunch on a Friday. We went for the lunch buffet (checked the days on their Facebook page), but (surprise surprise), the buffet is only on the weekends. First thing we noticed after walking in was the flies that were buzzing around the restaurant. There was just one man who seemed to be running the whole place, so service was quite lacking. We waited for an hour from sitting down to getting our friend. My friend went and got a pitcher of water from the fridge for us because service was lacking. Food was decent; the friend from Kerala said it was authentic enough. But overall, a poor experience.
